Various types of reference sources can be helpful for a wide range of tasks such
as:
- Finding statistics, dates, formulas, and other sorts of factual information
e.g, Statistical Sources.
- Getting a broad overview and background information on a topic e.g, Encyclopedias.
- Getting a definition of an unfamiliar term e.g., Dictionaries.
