Almanacs and Yearbooks are compendia of useful data and statistics—almanacs typically cover a broad spectrum of topics but do not include in-depth information. The World almanac and Book of Facts is an example of such a title. Almanacs are generally updated annually, so are excellent resources for finding current facts and information. Some almanacs are focused on a given field, such as the Weather Almanac or the CQ (Congressional Quarterly) Almanac. | |
