Overview of Library Catalog

The online catalog at your college (either CONSORT at Kenyon, Wooster, Denison, and OWU; or OBIS at Oberlin) contains listings of resources available at your local campus. CONSORT also provides information about the holdings of the other three consortium members.

When you are looking for secondary sources in science (e.g., books giving an overview of neuropsychology or emotion research), the online catalog is the place to go. The catalog contains records describing:

The library catalog does not list articles published in individual issues of journals. Instead, the catalog lists journals to which your library has an online or print subscription.

To find individual primary research articles, psychology students, will generally use PsycINFO.
